She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Edwards and Nellie Long Edwards; her husband John L. Vodzak Sr.; and her granddaughter Emma Vodzak. She is survived by: her children, John Vodzak Jr. (Ann) of Youngsville, N. C., Barbara Sharry (Michael), Lisa Vodzak (John Martin), Marie Gitomer (Stuart), Robert Vodzak (Cindy), James Vodzak (Mary), David Vodzak and Elaine Vodzak (Thomas Young); her grandchildren, Jennifer Yinger (Mark), Laura Kobak (Steve), Amanda Sharry-Rogers (Len), Sarah Nunez (Diego), Rebecca Norby (Brian), Christopher Sharry, Hunter Vodzak, Nicholas Vodzak, Tyler Vodzak, Emily Vodzak and Jonathon Gitomer; and her great grandchildren, Jocelyn Gitomer, Brandon, Aubrey Rogers, Logan, Conrad Kobak, Viviana, Victor Nunez, Alexander and Zachary Norby. She is also survived by several brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law; numerous nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.
In lieu of floral tributes, memorial contributions in Carolyn's memory may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
