Carl Backlund Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Backlund (Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania), born in Burlington, Colorado, who passed away on February 27, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Backlund and Florence Backlund (Elmgren); and his wife Frances A. "Cookie" Backlund (Cecelon). He is survived by: his sons, Eric Backlund (Jae-Yu) of Washington, D. C. and Leif Backlund of New Jersey; and his granddaughter Alissa Backlund. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
