She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Aikey and Lena Aikey (Aikey); her husband James D. Schell; and her siblings, Galen, Mervin, Clarence, Hugh Aikey Jr., Sarah Oberdorf, Amelia Hanselman, Edna Oberdorf, Rachel Lohr and Vera Kreisher.
She is survived by: her children, David (Christine Schell) of Elloree, S. C. and Jamie Schell Kolodzieski of Meshoppen; her grandsons, David Schell Jr. and Joshua (Randa Hallock); her great grandchild J. W. Hallock; and her siblings, Howard Aikey, Anna Mook and Nancy Crossgrove.
