He is survived by: his mother Crystal Pemberton; his sons, Stephon Carpenter and Marcus; his siblings, Maurice L. Asbury, Richard Asbury and Geneva Jones of Brooklyn, NY; his stepfather John Fitzgerald Stagg; his aunts and uncles, Gail Pemberton, Louise Asbury, Denise Evans, Emanuel Pemberton, Jr., Harry Asbury, Thomas Asbury and Ricky Asbury; and his cousins, Anika Johnson, Laziya Johnson, Arthur Evans, Kenneth Evans and Meme Asbury. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
