She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Mazer and Elizabeth Botyrius Mazer; her children, Vicki Kozak and Larry Karosa; and her brother Joe Mazer.
She is survived by: her husband George Karosa; her children, Karen Baisden (Roger) and George Karosa (Carolyn); her son-in-law John Kozak; and her sisters, Phyllis Turner of New Jersey and Marilyn Orszewski of New Jersey. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Betty's memory to the SPCA of Luzerne County 524 E. Main St. Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702 or to Griffin Pond Animal Shelter, 967 Griffin Pond Road, South Abington Township, PA 18411.
