She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Maximowicz (Eva Maximowicz) and Mary Sopp (Metro Sopp); her sister Patricia Thomas; her stepsiblings, Metro Sopp, Jr., Victor Babowicz, Bernadine Reinard and Francis Babowicz; her grandson John Young; and also, Tracey Dixon and James Dixon, Jr..
She is survived by: her husband James Dixon; her children, Tina Dixon (Ron), Lindsey Dixon (Jamie) and Shamire Dixon (Shelby); her stepsisters, Debra Teal and Pamela Mears; and her goddaughters, Alexis Bradley and Mercedes Bowman. She is also survived by five grandsons and one granddaughter, 2 great grandsons and 1 great granddaughter.
