It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice (Melnyk) Zaley of Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 5, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father John Melnyk; her husband Stephen Zaley; and her siblings, Walter, Joseph, William, Ann Wrobel, Mary Mohanco Chesterfield, Margaret Babak, Sophia Melnyk and Helen Melnyk.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Zaley Oistad of Etowah, NC and Stephen R. Zaley (Barbara) of Mills River, NC; her grandson Justin Oistad (Tokyo); and her siblings, George Melnyk and Irene Melnyk. She is also survived by 17 nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to a charity of ones choosing.
