She was predeceased by: her parents, David J. Carey, and Alice Carey, Sr. (Gould). She is survived by: her sons, David Pahler (Andrea), Joseph Pahler (Gina) and Jeffrey Pahler (Lisa Perrins); her grandchildren, David, Briana, Joey, Jamie, Jayden, Emma and Alicia; her great grandchildren, Mackenzie and Gracie; and her siblings, David Carey, Jr. (Barb Strong), Indian Lake, Robert Carey (Linda), Kathy Hagy (Dennis) and Jeannie Lisi (Joseph). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc. (20 S Main St, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18705). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
