She was predeceased by: her parents, John Pekol and Catherine Shelpack Pekol; her sister Cathy Jorda; and her former husband Nicholas Charnichko. She is survived by: her children, Mary Lisa Bogan (Howard) of Brielle, NJ, Nicholas Charnichko (Becky Metcalf-Charnichko) of East Tauton, MA and John Pekol (Kim); her grandchildren, Alexa Thomases (Bogan), Nicole Bogan, Vanessa Manetta (Bogan), Chelsey Molimock (Bogan), Erik Bogan, Ginger Rose Charnichko, Mary Kate Charnichko and Norah Jane Pekol; her great grandchildren, Harrison, Lily Thomases, Ava, Sophia, Madelyn Manetta, Frank, Brielle Molimock and Hudson Bogan; and her brother John Pekol.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Hope Parish (40 Park Ave, Wilkes-Barre Township, PA 18702). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations, may be made in Maryanne's memory to Our Lady of Hope Parish, 40 Park Avenue, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702 or to the charity of the donor's choice.
