Marilyn A. Lavan Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marilyn A. Lavan of Wilkes Barre Township, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 26, 2021 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Stavish and Anna Stavish (Scrippens); her husband Thomas F. Lavan; and her daughter Karen Lavan Bokelman. She is survived by: her son Thomas J. Lavan (Patricia); her grandson James Lavan (Jimmy); her siblings, Jeannie Frost, Janet Yatassaye (Moussa) and Stanley Stavish (Martha); and her sisters-in-law, Margaret Krutski (Peggy), Mary Ann Lavan, Anna Mae Lavan and Jane Lavan.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Marilyn's name to St. Mary Our Help of Christians Parish, 3529 Saint Mary's Road, Wapwallopen, PA 18660 and/or St. Jude Parish, Church Building Fund, 420 S. Mountain Blvd, Mountain Top, PA 18707.
