He was predeceased by: his parent John Cherkauskas; his son Donald Bachman; and his brother David Cherkauskas. He is survived by: his parent Louise Thomas Cherkauskas; his wife Christine Yatsko Cherkauskas (Tina); his daughter Judi Comisky of Wilkes-Barre; his granddaughter Jessica Bachman; and his siblings, John Cherkauskas, Anthony Cherkauskas (Linda), Mary Ann Everhart (Sheldon), Hanover Twp, Albert Cherkauskas (Eileen), Kathy Phillips (Robert), William Cherkauskas (Mary), Ashley Cherkauskas and Eugene Cherkauskas (Sandra). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
