He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Zbegner and Laura Gulzzynski Zbegner; his wife Judith Ann Smith Zbegner; his son Richard Zbegner; his son-in-law Bernard Slivoski; and his siblings, Joseph, Edward Zbegner and Eleanor Kochanski.
He is survived by: his children, Carl J. Zbegner (Deborah Zbegner), Judy Slivoski, Linda Kastreva (Edward) and Mary Latona (Joseph); his grandchildren, Jesse (April Slivoski), Nichole Pascavage (Jay), Jolene (Tony Woznicki), Katrina Zbegner, Eric Zbegner and Jacob Zbegner (Edward Kastreva); his great grandchildren, Alexa Slivoski, Ava, Adrianna Zbegner, Luvese Kastreva, Jaeylnn Pascavage and Leon Dassance; and his sisters, Loretta Guesto and NJ. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
