She is survived by: her parent Katherine Watkavitch Scanish; her spouse James M. Nearing; her daughters, Mary, Charles Wolf of Powell, Sarah and Steven Coy of Wilcox; her brother John "Sam" Scanish of Kersey; and also Brandy Camp.
