It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Helene E. Tomedi of Wilburton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 14, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Emma Coxe and Edward Coxe of Mount Carmel; her brother Robert Bush of Stewart, Tennessee; and her mother-in-law Pat Tomedi of Connorsville. She is survived by: her husband Dr. John Tomedi of Wilburton; her sons, John Jr. (Brennan Tomedi) of Howard, Daniel Tomedi of Wilburton, Joshua Tomedi (Melissa Scott) of Grafton and Cody Haupt; her grandsons, Jack and Benjamin Tomedi; her sister Cynthia Shamansky (Paul) of Sebastian, Florida; and her cousin Geraldine Zarkoski (Marty) of Kulpmont. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the C. J. Lucas Funeral Home (27 N Vine St, Mt Carmel, PA 17851). A reception will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Ponduce Farms (270 White Church Rd, Elysburg, PA 17824).
