It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mark E. Strait of Widnoon, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 10, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Strait and Madeline K. Strait (Marks) of West Mifflin; his brother John W. Strait Jr.; and his siblings-in-law, Lois Strait (Ron) and Denny Whitcomb.
He is survived by: his wife Marsha Strait (Horsman); his son Nathan Strait (Ashley) of Widnoon; his grandchildren, Ady, Zailya, Bennett and Silvia; his siblings, Ronald Strait of Elizabeth, PA, Cheri Kay Whitcomb of Bethel Park, Carol Shaffer (Bill) of Ohio and Kim Kimak-Oates; and his pets, Diesel, Sammy and Susie.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the Bauer-Hillis Funeral Home (758 Main St, Rimersburg, PA 16248).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given in Mark's name to the Orphans of the Storm Animal Shelter in Kittanning, or the Hartford Heights Volunteer Fire Department.
