He was predeceased by: his parents, Vinson Waters and Edna Shadle Waters; and his siblings, Leroy, John, Vinson Jr., George Waters, Mary Johns, Cleo Malone and Leona Keen.
He is survived by: his wife Marcella M. Stambaugh Waters; his son Marcus S. Waters; and his siblings, Gail Waters and David Waters. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
