She was predeceased by: her husband Peter Ikinu Mburu Migwi; her parents, Elijah Wambugu Chege and Edith Nduta Mugwe; and her children, Irene Gakumo, Nyambura Ikinu and Samuel Mwangi.
She is survived by: her children, Josphet Maina, Agnes Mwangi, Dorcas Rigathi, Oscar Ikinu and Simon Chege; and her sister Mweru Ngugi. She is also survived by 12 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren.
