With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas S. Albanesi of Whitehall, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 15, 2021 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Ruth Marie; his children, Mary Lou, Thomas, Jr. (Ann), Richard, Karen Albanesi-Toal (Charles) and Gail Ann Schwartzmiller (Ralph); his parents, Tarquino and Molly (Pivirotto); and his siblings, Vincent, Arthur, Rita and Robert (Lorraine) of Naples, FL.. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, and cousins.

Mass of Christian Burial in Blessed Trinity Parish, St. Albert the Great Church at 10:30 a.m. Family suggests donations to either the Salvation Army of Western Pennsylvania or Blessed Trinity Parish, St. Albert the Great, 3198 Schieck Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15227.

“Family and friends: Tom has been in our family for as long as we can remember, and he and our mother, Kathryn Lepore Zipf, were 'best coysins' all their lives. He loved my mother's pizzelles, and we delighted in gifting them to him several times a year. Our last visit to him was in March 2021; bringing him a batch of his beloved pizzelles! We are having a hard time trying to imagine Tom no longer with us; he was one of kind and will be truly missed. Kathryn, Kathy, Marilyn & Marcia Zipf”
