It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Teresa Trombetta of Whitehall, Pennsylvania, born in Duquesne, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 19, 2020, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Luigi; her parents, Antonio Matarazzo and Angela Sirianni; her siblings, Angelina Gigliotti and Vincenzo Matarazzo; her granddaughter Angela D'Ambrosio; her children, Caterina Mancuso (Francesco), Angelina Trombetta and Pasquale Trombetta; her grandchildren, Cecilia Mancuso, Teresa Erb (Daniel), Linda Connolly (William), Lucia Mancuso, Frank D'Ambrosio (Michele), Teresa Mortellaro (Cole) and Louis D'Ambrosio (Joshua Allen); her great grandchildren, Isabella, Sofia Erb, Evan, Charlie Connolly, Olivia, Emma Ozturk, Vincent, Rocco, Natalie D'Ambrosio, Amelia and Eva Mortellaro; and her sisters, Mary Vesci, Anna Fazio and Rose Rullo (Mario).
Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 from 2-4 and 6-8 p. m. Funeral prayer on Wednesday at 9:15 a. m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Virgin Church at 10:00 a. m. Due to the current health crisis, masks and social distancing guidelines must be adhered to.
