It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Teresa R. (Tess) Nowalk (Whitehall, Pennsylvania), who passed away on April 11, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Francis J. Nowalk; her children, Jim Nowalk (Tricia), Bob Nowalk (Jenny), Mary Wood (Pat), Nancy McKinnis (Scot), Sally Helfer (Ray) and Beth Schmiedlin (J. J.); her parents, Alphonse Rectenwald and Catherine Rectenwald; her siblings, Mary Jane Lazenga, Ruth Then, Shirley Warner, Norma Piel and Jim Rectenwald; and her siblings-in-law, Tom Nowalk and Kathleen Till. She was also cherished by 20 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Tess's family asks that donations be made to St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Virgin Church or its St. Vincent DePaul Society.
