He was predeceased by: his parents, Pauline Mahala (Kocian) and Steve J. Mahala. He is survived by: his sisters, Florence Burrell, Rosemary Mahala (John Varhola) and Dorothy Fisher; his close friend Bernard Radocha; his niece Patricia Crawford; his nephew Robert A. Burrell; his children-in-law, Lisa Fenstermaker (Brent) and Michael Hill (Denise); and his grandchildren, Hayley and Connor Fenstermaker.
