We are sad to announce that on February 12, 2025, at the age of 97, Samuel Corrado of Whitehall, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wives, Phyllis Corrado (Salvati) and Katherine Corrado (Fera); and his brother Anthony Corrado (Dorothy). He is survived by: his children, Mary Jo Reed, Anthony Corrado (Susan) and Louis Corrado (Barbara); his child-in-law Thomas Reed, Sr.; his grandchildren, Thomas Reed, Jr., Teresa Rusch (Ronald), Sarah Sciaretta (Richard), Vincent Corrado (Marissa Bennett), Christopher Corrado (Abby Carter), Jacob Corrado, Samuel Corrado, Francesca Corrado, Natalie Corrado and Nicholas Corrado; his great grandchildren, Maura Davidovich (Jordan), Ronald Rusch, III, Kimberly Rusch, Ella Rusch, Andrew Sciaretta, Charlotte Sciaretta, Richard Sciaretta and William Sciaretta; his great great grandchild Sutton Davidovich; and his sister Rosemary DeValkeneer (late Carl). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Soxman Funeral Homes, Ltd. (7450 Saltsburg Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15235). A Mass was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Joy R. C. Church (2000 O'Block Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15239).
