He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer F. Hamerstone and Beulah Hamerstone (Purdy); his son Alan H. Hamerstone; and his siblings, Elmer Hamerstone and Ruth Bowker.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen Hamerstone (McNally); his daughter Stephanie L. Hamerstone; his daughter-in-law Marie A. Hamerstone; and his grandson Elliot D. Hamerstone.
