He was predeceased by: his wife Yvonne Melzner (Burke); and his parents, Richard Melzner and Dorothy Melzner. He is survived by: his children, Daryle M. Schuster (Kevin) and Daniel S. Melzner; his grandchild Terry (Rachel); and his sister Marilyn "Mimi" Gillooly.
