He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Jean and Louise Jean; and his siblings, Peter, Frank, Albert Fontano and Carol Licho.
He is survived by: his wife Lena Fontano (Coscia); his sons, Nicholas J. Fontano, Jr. (Jennifer) of Southington, CT and Domenic Fontano (Rosanna) of Wallingford, CT; his grandchildren, Farrah, Julia, Dean, Joseph, Domenique and Domenic Fontano; his stepgrandchildren, Veronica and Alex Ciccone; and his brothers, Robert Fontano (Donna) of Waterbury, CT and Michael Fontano (Laura) of Waterbury, CT. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
