Nelson L. Schaeffer Obituary
In loving memory of Nelson L. Schaeffer of Whitehall, Pennsylvania, who departed this world on February 20, 2025 at the age of 82. Nelson leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Luther N. Schaeffer and Louise Schaeffer (Kruckeberg). He is survived by: his wife Kathryn C. Schaeffer (Weida); his children, Karen Weinrich (Chris), David Schaeffer (Jodie) and Jeffrey Schaeffer (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Benjamin, Alexander, Jonathan and Liesl; and his great grandchild Claire.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church (3355 MacArthur Rd, Hokendauqua, PA 18052). A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Kutztown University Foundation (Schaeffer Marching Band Scholarship), in care of the Funeral Home, PO Box 52, Fogelsville, PA 18051.
