Mary Cheran Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 1, 2022, at the age of 87, Mary Cheran of Whitehall, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Simo and Milka (Mamula); and her siblings, Anna Harkins (Robert), Ruby Miller (William), Milena McNicholas (Leo) and Nick.
She is survived by: her husband Melvin; and her sons, Mark of Winchester, VA. and Matthew (Daniel Foust) of Mt. Lebanon. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, and friends.
Because Mara had an incredible love for reading and for those who were in need, in lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to either Friends of Whitehall Library, 100 Borough Park Drive, Pittsburgh, PA. 15236, the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank, 1 N.
