She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Bjorum and Mary Bjorum (Hageter); and her brother Gregory Bjorum. She is survived by: her husband Robert H. Shay; her children, Cara S. Shay and Brendan R. Shay (Vicki R.); her siblings, Marilyn "Mimi" Pattison, William and Michael Bjorum; and her granddaughter Makena Shay.
