As Jose departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Jose may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Jose leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Francisco Vega and Mary Gusevich (Colon); and his brother Edwin Vega. He is survived by: his wife Maribel (Santiago); his children, Anthony J. Vega, Shawn M. Vega (Vanessa) and Andrew J. Vega; his stepchildren, Diane Perez (Jesus Ramirez), Edward Perez and Cynthia Perez (Josh Pieri); and his sister Mildred Vega. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Central Assembly of God (1300 Eaton Ave, Bethlehem, PA 18018). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Union Cemetery of Hellertown (85 Main St, Hellertown, PA 18055).
