He is survived by: his wife Janet Marie Wetzel (Schaefer); his children, Barbara Martinelli (Joe), Kristin Freeman (Lonelle), John W Wetzel Jr. (Alison), David Wetzel, Layla, Nikki, Donny, Marissa, Myah, Ellie, Wyatt and Navani; and his siblings, Patricia Rimkus (Ken), Thomas Wetzel (Nancy), Daniel Wetzel (Mary), Ronald Wetzel (Jana), Winifred Stegena (Jay) and Susan Weimer (Don). He is also survived by many Nieces, Nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the William Slater II Funeral Service (1650 Greentree Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15220). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
