He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Mikovits and Rose Mikovits (Lorenz); and his sister Yolanda Mikovits. He is survived by: his children, Meg Mikovits and John C. Mikovits; his grandchildren, Jude and Wren Allen; his children-in-law, Kelly Allen and Erika Farkas; his sister Betty Kern (Jim); his nieces and nephews, Cyndi Gregory (Kern), Michael, Deb Hogan (Kern), Ryan, Sue Greenplate (Kern) and Matt; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Keegan, Zoie Gregory, Noah Hogan, Abigail and Josh Greenplate.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory can be sent to the National Museum of Industrial History at 602 E 2nd St, Bethlehem, PA 18015.
