We are sad to announce that on January 12, 2025, at the age of 73, John A. Velekei of Whitehall, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his spouse Anette E. Velekei (Alban); and his parents, John J. Velekei and Helen Velekei (Zolnierzak). He is survived by: his daughters, Janelle Velekei, Alyssa Lada (Brian) and Katie Velekei (Robert Phillips); and his siblings, Dolores Johnson (William Johnson), Frank Velekei, James Velekei and Theresa Lawhead. He is also survived by 5 granddaughters, many nieces and nephews.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in loving memory of John.
