He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Zenz (Anthony), Timothy Bechtold and Matthew Bechtold (Paul Ziegenfus); his brothers, Richard Bechtold and Ronald Bechtold; and his grandchildren, Jessica, Kaitlin, Erica, Tessa and Kevin. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
