We bid farewell to Hilda Luffey of Whitehall, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 26, 2024 at the age of 98. Hilda touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband William M. Luffey, Sr.; her son William M., Jr.; and her siblings, Louise Massaro (Andy), Daniel Aquiline (Rosemarie) and Rose Yeager (Bud).
She is survived by: her child Janyce L. McNeely (Michael); her grandchildren, Jennifer Storms (Rob) and William M., IV Luffey (Erin); her great grandchildren, Matthew, Christopher, Ava, Abby and Jack; and her siblings, Michael Aquiline (late Eileen) and Til DiTommaso (Albert). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 30th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc. (4201 Brownsville Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15227). A prayer was held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Blessed Trinity Parish (3754 Brownsville Rd, Brentwood, PA 15227). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
