He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred A. Henning and Anne Henning (Kirchner). He is survived by: his daughters, Tiffany Johnson (Brian) and Nicole Henning; his brother Kevin Henning (Pam); and his grandchildren, Emily, Evan Johnson, Nicolas Henning and Kyrsten Faust. He is also survived by three nephews.
