She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl C. Smith and Gladys M. Smith (Strunk). She is survived by: her husband Steve G. Vargas; her daughters, Nicole A. (Michael Stover), Amanda L. (David Phillips) and Stephanie L. (Eric Lambert); her grandchildren, Amelia, Harrison Stover, J. Coulson, Ander Phillips, Micayla and Quinn Lambert; and her brothers, E. Charles Smith (Rhea), Robert C. Smith (Roberta) and Michael C. Smith (Sandra). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
