She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Hans Jessen and Margarethe Jessen (Johannsen); her husband Robert I. Steckel, Jr.; her children, Christine M. Decker of Allentown, Robert J. Steckel, Sr. (Donna) and David B. Steckel (Claudia) of Allentown; and her siblings-in-law, Barbara M. Etheridge of Phillipsburg, NJ and James Steckel of The Villages, FL. She was also cherished by five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
