He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Beckett and Mary Beckett (Entress). He is survived by: the father of his child Ashlee Beckett Giovanis (John); and his granddaughter Isabelle Mae of Mt. Lebanon. He is also survived by family members and countless friends.

“Ashlee, My wife Kaye and I just heard about your dad's passing from my brother Tom. Your dad was in our wedding in 1970. Although he was a close friend of Tom's, he and I hung out together frequently in the late 1960's before he met your mom. We will always remember him fondly. Please accept our sincere condolences and please give warm regards to your mom. Kaye and I moved to Florida in 2011 but your dad will be in our thoughts and prayers. Kaye and Bob Fierle”
