He was predeceased by: his parents, James Chesney and Sarah Chesney of Northern Ireland; and his sibling Jean Rimmel of South Park. He is survived by: his wife Barbara (Beggs); his children, David, Jr. (Cherie) and Lynn C. Sosnowski (Tim); and his grandchildren, Mikaylie, Jordan Sosnowski, D. J. and Lauren Chesney.
