She was predeceased by: her father Joseph S. Simon. She is survived by: her mother Ida M. Simon (Semler); her stepson Brad (Lauren Confer); her stepgrandchild Taylor; her brothers, Joseph (Maureen Simon) and Mark Simon; and her niece Shelby.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Catholic School in loving memory of Carol.
