It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carmelo J. Giovenco of Whitehall, Pennsylvania, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on September 5, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Giovenco and Anne Giovenco (Kubica); and his sister Caroline Benner. He is survived by: his wife Karen (Recker); his grandchildren, Ryan, Gabriel, Jack and Alessandra; his sister Patricia "Patty" Giovenco (Hugh McCarten); and his brother-in-law Marvin Benner.
