She was predeceased by: her parents, John F. Layton and Lillian E. Layton (Kalbach); her husband Frank J. Kovacs, Jr.; and her son Gary Kovacs. She is survived by: her children, Michael Kovacs of Whitehall and Sally Gehringer of Allentown; and her siblings, James Layton (Marjorie) of Allentown, Bruce Layton (Sharon), Edward Layton (Darlene) and Iris Unger (Joseph) of Whitehall. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
