She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Podvorny and Clara Podvorny (Lis); her husband John "Jack" Thomas; her daughters, Michelle, Eileen of Jim Thorpe, PA and Carol of Charlotte, NC; her granddaughter Marielle of Waxhaw, NC; and her sister Joan Harrison of Fort Lee, NJ. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Disabled Veterans of America.
