She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Kates and Viola Kates (Hardvick); her husband Robert F. Guth, Jr.; and her siblings, Alan, Raymond, Sonny, Bill, Larry, Richard and Viola Bachert.
She is survived by: her children, Anna Zsigovits (Barry) of Whitehall, Robert Guth III (Terry) of Watsontown, Maryanne Keiper (Barry) of Fleetwood and Karen Zemlansky (Keith) of Coplay; her siblings, Butch Kates (Liz) of Florida and Patricia VanLuvanee (Jerry) of Northampton; and her pet Simon. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
She enjoyed making quilts for her family and friends as well as donating some to the Children's Hospital in Philadelphia.
