She was predeceased by: her husband John O'Brien, III; her mother Mary Ann Thompson; her parents-in-law, Judge John O'Brien, Jr. and Ruth O'Brien; and her brother Bruce.

She is survived by: her father Charles Thompson; her siblings, Paul Thompson (Teddi), David Thompson (Vicky), Joan Spencer (Brett) and John Thompson; and her siblings-in-law, Colleen Adams (Greg), Christy Leslie (Paul), Patrice Felton (late Rex), Terry O'Brien, Julie Happe (Steve), Jacqueline O'Brien and Robert O'Brien (Erin). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
