He was predeceased by: his wife Bernadette G. Schadl (Kennedy); his parents, Joseph Schadl and Josephine Schadl (Solderits); and his siblings, Edward Schadl, Rose Cherry and Stella Frassetto.
He is survived by: his children, John Remer of Coplay, Robert Remer of Saylorsburg and Jill (Timothy Strella) of Coplay; and his siblings, Francis, Joseph Schadl, Josephine Newhard, Anna Rechtor and Freda Mertz. He is also survived by three grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
