He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter H. Johnson and JoAnna Johnson (Moon); his children, Jeffrey A. Johnson and Kathleen M. "Kathy" Eiford; his siblings, James Johnson, William "Bill" Johnson, Grover Johnson, Gary Lee Johnson, Sylvia J. Schurg, Lorraine Ritenour and JoAnn Sterle; and his grandsons, David Johnson II and Benjamin Kisko.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Peggy" Johnson (Sherbondy); his children, Barbara (Andrew Kisko), David (Dorothy Johnson), Tammy (Clay Layman), Karen (Jeff Duppstadt), Kenny Johnson of White, Lori (Troy Pritts) and Randy (Getta Johnson); his children-in-law, Kennydale Eiford of Clinton and Melissa "Missy" Upton Johnson; and his sisters, Thelma Alavar of Connellsville, Linda Baker and Mary Ann Johnson of Connellsville. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren.
