He was predeceased by: his parents, George Salopek and Marie Salopek (Bradich); his grandson Lucas Salopek; his brother Michael Salopek; and his siblings-in-law, James Kochis and Donna Kochis.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Salopek (Kochis); his children, Shawn Salopek (Sarah) and Tina Salopek; his grandchildren, Colt and Rhett Salopek; his siblings, George Salopek (Lori), Suzanne Hopkins, Maria Salopek and Edward Salopek (Michelle); his brothers-in-law, Michael Kochis (late Janice), Robert Kochis and Lawrence Kochis; and his child God Parish. He is also survived by Many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
