He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael John and Edith Kochman (Giles); and his siblings, Lucille, William and Daniel.

He is survived by: his wife Pamela Kochman (Phillips); his children, David Kochman (Diana), Brian Kochman and Cathy Bluman (Mark); his grandchildren, Michael, Rose, Brooke and Liam; and his brother Timothy Kochman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
