She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Johnston and Roberta Johnston (Dunlap); her son David Charles Barker; and her siblings, Ralph "Butch" Johnston, Barbara "Babs" Campbell and Sandra M. Sopko.

She is survived by: her husband Charles "Chuck" Barker; her daughter Colleen (Richard); her sister Judy Uhlig (Gene) of Florida; her nephew Spiritual; and her sisters, Debra Majercik, Nancy Gribble and Angie Blake.
